Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 10, 2026 · TCG Tools

This Privacy Policy explains what information TCG Tools collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information: when you sign in (e.g. with Google or with an email and password), we receive a basic profile (name, email, a unique account ID) used to create and secure your account.

App data: decks, settings, and profile details you enter are stored to provide the service, both on your device and, for signed-in accounts, synced to our cloud database so your decks are available across your devices.

Community Decks: if you choose to publish a deck to Community Decks, its contents (cards and quantities), its name, your account handle, and any optional note you write about it become visible to other signed-in users. See "Community Decks" below for the full disclosure.

Device and regional information: to operate the app and keep your account secure across your devices, we store basic technical information such as your country, language, time zone, platform, app version, and a short list of your recent devices.

Support messages: if you contact us through the in-app support option, your message opens in your own email app so you can send it to us. When you send it, we receive your message and the email address you send from.

Promotional codes: if you redeem a promotional discount code, we record that your account used that code (to enforce per-user and total redemption limits and prevent abuse).

Purchase information: subscriptions are processed by the app store and our payment provider (RevenueCat). We receive your subscription status, not your full payment details.

Analytics & crash data: we use Google Firebase Analytics to collect a small set of product events — for example when an account is created, a sign-in occurs, onboarding is completed or skipped, the subscription screen is viewed, and a subscription purchase completes — along with screen views and a general free/pro account-type property. We may also use crash-reporting tools to collect crash reports, stack traces, and basic device and operating-system information so we can diagnose and fix problems. This data is used to understand usage and improve the app.

Advertising: the app shows ads to users on the free tier, provided through Google AdMob. To serve these ads, Google may collect and use a device advertising identifier and related information in accordance with Google's own policies. Users with an active premium subscription do not see ads. We do not sell your personal information.

How we use information

To provide and maintain the app, manage your account and subscription, show ads to free-tier users, respond to support requests, measure and improve features, diagnose crashes, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Community Decks

Community Decks is a feed where you can publish one of your decks for other players to browse. Publishing a deck creates a separate, detached copy — editing or deleting your own saved deck afterward never changes or removes the published listing, and downloading a listing never links it back to the original uploader's account.

A published listing is visible to any other signed-in user and includes: the deck's cards and quantities, its name, your account handle (never your email or real name), and any optional note you choose to write about it (up to 500 characters). Do not include personal information you don't want made public in that note.

You can remove your own listing at any time. If your account is deleted, every listing you published is removed along with it (see "Data retention & deletion" below).

Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the app, including Google Firebase (authentication, data storage, analytics, and crash reporting), Google AdMob (advertising to free-tier users), RevenueCat (payments and subscription management), and the app stores. Card images and card data are retrieved from public TCG data sources. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account directly in the app, from the profile screen ("Delete Account"). If you prefer, you can also request deletion by email — see our Account & Data Deletion page. After you request deletion, your account is scheduled for permanent removal after 30 days, during which you can sign back in to cancel. After that period, your cloud account data (profile, username, handle, photo, and sign-in record) is permanently removed, along with your cloud-synced decks and any Community Decks listings you published. Data stored only on your own device is removed from that device the next time you open the app on it. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your app store account to stop future billing.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under the age required by your local law to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect data from such children.

Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise them, contact us at tcgtoolsofficial@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
